As a lot of you older members may have noticed, Boomer (this site's administrator) has been away from the forums for quite a while dealing with the trials and tribulations of his father's somewhat insufferable terminal illness.

I am saddened to say that the great man (a ship tanker captain) left us recently.

Boomer is currently recovering from this ordeal and should be back with us shortly.

R.I.P Athanassios!

Blessed are those eyes that have seen more roads than any man! (Homer).

May whatever solace there can visit Boomer and his family my thoughts and ours go out to him and his.
